The Centre for Complex Systems & Dynamics is organising a winter school COLD 2026 — Complexity, Optimisation, Learning and Dynamics at IIT Madras this December.
COLD is a six-day intensive school aimed at late undergraduate and masters students from engineering, mathematics, physics, and computer science. The school brings together four themes — nonlinear dynamics, machine learning theory, statistical mechanics, and optimisation — through 15 lectures, 3 perspective talks, hands-on research projects, and lab visits. And we will be hosting about 30 students.
